Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2025

PequeRoku is an open-source project licensed under MIT. We don’t run ads, sell your data, or track you across sites. Our website is intentionally minimal: we do not collect personal information or analytics beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the site and our open-source project presence.

Self-hosted by design. If you deploy PequeRoku yourself, you control the infrastructure and any telemetry. The software does not include built-in tracking.

Data we collect

Website: We do not run first-party analytics and we do not set any first-party tracking cookies. When you click to view our repository on GitHub or load assets from a CDN, those services may collect limited technical information (see “Third-party services” below).

Project interactions: If you open an issue, discussion, or pull request on GitHub, the information you choose to publish there is public and handled by GitHub according to their policies.

Cookies

We do not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Third-party services (e.g., GitHub, CDNs, or video hosting if you watch the demo) may set their own cookies as part of delivering their service.

Third-party services

Our site links to and/or loads resources from:

  • GitHub — repository hosting, issues, and releases.
  • Iconoir CDN — icon font delivery.
  • Your hosting provider — wherever you serve this website from.

These providers may process your IP address, user-agent, and other technical data to serve content securely, prevent abuse, and generate their own metrics. Please refer to their privacy notices for details.

Server logs & self-hosting

Web servers commonly generate short-lived logs (e.g., IP address, user-agent, requested URL) for security and operational purposes. If you self-host, you control whether such logs are kept and for how long. PequeRoku does not add any telemetry by default.

Children’s privacy

PequeRoku is a developer-focused project and not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention

We do not retain personal data through this website. Content you publish on GitHub is retained under GitHub’s policies.

Your rights

Because we don’t operate accounts or collect personal data on this site, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. For content hosted by third parties (e.g., GitHub), please use their tools.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page to reflect project changes or applicable law. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide a short notice in the repository.
